The Alpen Flair 2016 is history, very successful indeed, and after the latest debriefing, and after plenty of visitors gave their feedback (positive feedback in every aspect), we are now in the process of planning everything for 2017.
By now everyone should know that the 2017 Alpen Flair will be taking place June 21 until June 25, 2017, on the former NATO area in Natz, as usual.
The warm-up party will take place on Wednesday and is going to be part of the program, as well as the after-show party on Sunday.
Thus we’re now having 5 entire days on the “Apfelhochplateau” and many, many hours filled with fun, joy, social life, music, sports, and party. Feel-good factor = 10.
Ticket prices only have to be increased slightly, in comparison to 2016.
We’re sure you’ll understand why this is necessary, namely due to constant price inflation of all service companies, fees for bands, electricity, water/sewage, lease for the area, licenses, insurance, garbage disposal, etc.
But we’re trying our best not to put all this on your shoulders, so we’re offering you the early bird weekend ticket for reasonable €60 + €10 (for camping, per person). This ticket, however, will only be available until August 15, 2016. After that, we’re offering the regular festival ticket online with the same services.
If we’re being honest, you have to admit that we’re always waaay too favorable, compared internationally and considering what we’re offering and what bands are performing. Right? Those who are still bitching about the price, can never be satisfied anyway, and cannot argue from a rational point of view.
So, buying early is definitely worth it, especially if you want to save EVEN MORE money and if you have trust in us, regarding band selection.
We’re already negotiating with the weather gods, because even though mud is biologically valuable and good for the skin, we’re not looking into becoming ads for health insurance and spas, we’re definitely demanding sunshine and higher temperatures in June of 2017.
We’ll see what happens ;-)…in the end it doesn’t matter, because you can also celebrate when it’s raining – which we demonstrated in 2016.
Our booking department is already working day and night for a mega lineup in 2017, which will be living it up on our enormous Alpen Stage. Some names written down on our running order already read like a menu in a four-star restaurant. Fabulous treats only! We’re excited to see if they’ll definitely play in the end.
We’re definitely going to meet old friends again, but we’re also hoping for some newbies that are on our wish list. We’ll be publishing the first names soon. You may be looking forward to it!

Friends, the showdown in Berlin is quickly approaching and the adrenaline is already rushing through the veins. Production is ready and is looking forward to going on the journey to Wuhlheide and presenting itself in a blazing showdown. It’s going to be very official and it’s going to burn itself into our senses. The program is all set up.
We need to ask you to download the latest version of the Frei.Wild app, because we’re planning on something BIG for our show with you. With this app on site, everyone can be part of the show and create a visual overall picture, which is going to burn itself into your mind and thoughts.
Doors open on July 30, 2016 at 4PM, and we need to point out that due to the huge number of visitors, it may take some time until everyone found their way into the interior. Thus we’re suggesting that you’re coming a little bit later or a little bit earlier, and then find a way to spend the time between admission and program start sensibly. This means that if you’re arriving at 5PM, you’re not going to miss anything, because nothing will be happening on stage before 6.30PM. Let’s just be relaxed and not create pressure.
Regarding the free CDs, we’re creating a central stand (a pagoda) on the place in front of it (but after ticket control), where – between 4PM and 12AM – you can receive your free CD after showing your concert ticket. You don’t have to go and get it at 4PM sharp – there’ll be enough CDs and no concert visitor will be left out IF YOU DON’T FORGET TO PICK UP YOUR COPY! (We don’t want to hear anyone whine about not receiving one; everyone is responsible for getting their own copy).
