Almhütten tour – the fight begins !
Let’s go, with a “Juchiza” (an old tradition in the Alpine region, namely an expression of joy and welcoming, and we’re yelling it from the mountains, at last). Yup, that’s right, we all did our waiting, and the cabins are ready.
Thus, memorize the following 3 things.
1. Contrary to what others claim, there will be 3 shows – in Garmisch (Germany), Schladming (Austria), and Vals/Jochtal (South Tyrol). Expect it to take place on the weekend around December 8-10, 2016, so you should take some time off from work around that time.
2. Price: As promised, it’ll not exceed €30 plus advance booking fee. There’ll only be hard tickets.

4. Other: It’ll be three very small, but sweet “back to the roots” club shows. It’s gonna be loud, and everything else that’s typical for the Almhütten.

Indeed, we’ve always been eager to try out new things, so we’re not going to forget this part of our band’s history, just like many other things that make people sneer at us and call us crazy (but to their defense, we used to call ourselves crazy, too :) ).

Beach Flair – Das Rockt – Interview !
Hello everyone, have you already packed your bathing suits?
In any case, bathing suits and bathing caps are essential and belong into every nightliner, just like good movies, and anti heartburn pills. But it’s still a few days until the fabulous weekend in Croatia. Seriously, we’re already champing at the bit and can’t wait for it to start and spend a few awesome days with hundreds of fans.
The Beach Flair took place in Tuscany, Italy last year. This time it’s gonna take place in Croatia. Once again the internationally renowned Falkensteiner group will be organizing hotels. How did this work out for you and most importantly, how is it going to be in Croatia this year?
Well, starting with the idea for the Beach Flair. As everyone knows, we’re children of the mountains and not exactly water lovers or people from the beach; at least not naturally.
But it’s well known that we’re people who are always drawn towards faraway and sunny places, new climes, but most importantly, new activities. Erich Falkensteiner, a truly busy man and now a very good friend of the band, said to us almost exactly two years ago: “Boys, we’ve been setting sail with the Kastelruther Spatzen for years. You’re the number one rock band in South Tyrol, so let’s try something loud, and rocking by the sea with a taste of Alpen Flair, and let’s bless these southern regions with a little bit of Frei.Wild magic and more South Tyrolean charm.”
From this moment on it was decided; we were talking about it for a second, made up a few suggestions regarding structuring and that was about it. We oriented ourselves pretty easily and immediately thought of “Frei.Wild + friends + loud music” as something awesome, so that we got started basically without a predefinition and together we jumped in at the deep end. The Beach Flair in Croatia in a couple of days will be another great highlight; one where we can be even closer to our fans, just because we want it, and it’ll work out even better, due to the hotel complex.
The complex is a vacation dream per se, the food is the bomb, and everything will be of much higher quality. This means, no Beach Flair could get any more domestic than this one, that’s for sure. So that’s why we’re once again saying that no one should be missing this event, even though it’s a long distance. But still, every damn mile will be worth taking off and spend a bunch of great days with friends, good music, and most of all, relaxation.
Three simple final questions:
1. What should be packed into every Beach Flair suitcase?
2. Will Frei.Wild win any of the volleyball matches this year or…well…just lose again? (haha)
3. You wanted to play “Still”, is it going to be loud and rock-y on the gorgeous beach of Punta Skala?
Oh, three questions in a row; we’re can handle that.
Well, everyone should bring one thing: a good mood, their best friends (not in the suitcase, obviously :) ), and a lot of excitement for very relaxed, very private, and certainly very unforgettable days, which – if you put it that way – will never come back the same way. Life is just too short to miss an opportunity, and this attitude also explains why we’re trying for things like that and enjoy them, too.
As far as volleyball goes, it’s true. Last year we sucked big time during the beach volleyball tournament. But that wasn’t due to us lacking skill (as we tell ourselves, haha), but rather lots of bad luck and playing against the light, because basically, the sun in Tuscany was always shining against us. This year – it appears – we’re going to beat everyone (everyone laughs).
As for question number 3: There’ll be two nights, one with softer sounds, which also feature Marco and Warthy, and the other one is going to be loud and rock-y and distorted and it’s going to be Frei.Wild, the way everyone knows and loves. In any case it’s going to be a Beach Flair that we’re all going to love and that’s going to cause something else, namely that the coming Beach Flair in Jesolo will reach another dimension!!!
Is there still a chance of booking? There seem to be a lot of “on-the-spur-of-the-moment” kind of people that tell everyone in the FB world that they’re gonna be there spontaneously. Is there still something available?
